Rebecca Cuthill

Executive Director, Advancement at University of Tasmania

Rebecca Cuthill is the current Executive Director of Advancement at the University of Tasmania. Prior to this, they served as the Acting Associate Director of Fundraising and Senior Advancement Officer at the university. Before their time at the University of Tasmania, Ms. Cuthill was the Manager of the Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal from October 2011 to August 2017. The Save the Tasmanian Devil Appeal is the only official fundraising entity that direct funds in full to Australia's national response to Devil Facial Tumour Disease, through the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program.

Rebecca Cuthill has a Master's Degree in Communications from the University of Canberra, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of Tasmania. Rebecca also has certification from the Australian Institute of Company Directors in Governance Foundations for Not-for-Profit Directors, the Council for Advancement & Support of Education in Certificate in Educational Fundraising - CASE, and Australian Film Television and Radio School in Certificate in Production Management.

They work with Nigel Blundell - Executive Director, Research Operations, Kate Rowland - Executive Director, Operations, and Craig Barling - Vice President, Strategy, Finance & Marketing. Rebecca Cuthill reports to Alison Watkins, Chancellor.
