Alice Rezende

Alice Rezende is an experienced curator and cultural professional with a strong background in museum studies and digital art. Currently serving as an Assistant Curator at the University of Technology Sydney since October 2024, Alice previously held positions at the National Gallery of Australia as a Curatorial Assistant in Australian Art and at the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art, where roles included Registration Assistant and Gallery Officer. Notably, Alice led Outer Space's inaugural public art project, 'Location, Location, Location,' showcasing the work of twelve Queensland-based artists. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Museum Studies from The University of Queensland, where a High Distinction thesis focused on time-based media and digital art collections was completed. Additional educational pursuits include curatorial studies at the Node Center and a Bachelor's degree in Creative Industries from QUT.
