Aydan Walker

Aydan Walker is an experienced professional in animal ethics and management with a strong background in both academic qualifications and practical roles. Currently serving as a member of the Animal Ethics Committees at Charles Sturt University and the University of Technology Sydney, Aydan has also held the position of Operations Manager and Facilities Coordinator at Ticked Off since March 2018. Volunteer work with WIRES Inc. since October 2020 includes expertise in various animal rescue and care initiatives, as well as roles in training and compliance. Prior experience includes customer operations roles at Scentre Group and managerial positions at Hungry Jack's Australia Pty Ltd. Educational qualifications encompass a Graduate Certificate in Management from the University of New England, a Master of Philosophy in Marsupial Immunology from Western Sydney University, and a Bachelor's degree in Natural Science with a focus on Zoology and Conservation Biology.
