Doan Hoang is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in the field of electrical and data engineering. Since 2001, Doan Hoang has served as a Professor at the University of Technology Sydney, leading the Virtualized Infrastructures and Cyber Security Research Group and also holding the roles of Professor and Director of the iNEXT - Research Centre for Innovation in IT Services and Applications, as well as Professor and Head of School in the School of Computing and Communications. Prior to this, Doan Hoang was a Visiting Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, where research focused on Active and Programmable Networks and teaching included EE122 - Introduction to Communication Networks. Additionally, Doan Hoang held the position of Visiting Research Professor at Nortel Labs.
