James Wallman

James Wallman currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Science and as a Professor and Head of the School of Life Sciences at the University of Technology Sydney since October 2019. Prior experience includes a variety of roles at the University of Wollongong from August 2001 to September 2019, such as Deputy Head of the School of Earth, Atmospheric and Life Sciences and Head of both the Schools of Biological Sciences and Earth, Atmospheric and Life Sciences. Earlier in their career, James Wallman held a research and teaching academic position in the Departments of Zoology and Environmental Biology at the University of Adelaide from January 1991 to July 2001. James Wallman holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Adelaide, and completed early education at St Peter's College.
