Jochen Schweitzer

Jochen Schweitzer is an Associate Professor at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), where a distinguished career began as a Doctoral Researcher in 2004, progressing through various academic ranks to Associate Professor by 2018. As the Founding Director of Australia's first Entrepreneurship MBA and now the Executive MBA Director, Jochen has been instrumental in shaping innovative management education at UTS. In addition to leading the development of entrepreneurship initiatives and overseeing research in strategy and innovation, Jochen plays a role in cross-faculty collaborations as a Co-instigator of the UTS Innovation and Enterprise Collaborative. Jochen's advisory experience extends to multiple NSW Government departments, engaging in leadership development and productivity initiatives. Jochen's scholarly contributions include authorship for Sage and University of Toronto Press and visiting roles at prestigious institutions such as Technische Universität Berlin and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Jochen holds a PhD in Strategic Management from UTS and a B.Eng in Industrial Engineering.
