Professor Carolyn McGregor Am

Professor Carolyn McGregor AM serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Business and IT at Ontario Tech University, where responsibilities include co-directing the Joint Research Centre in AI for Health and Wellness and holding roles as Research Chair in AI for Health and Wellness and Professor. With extensive experience in health informatics, Carolyn has held positions such as Canada Research Chair and Director of Research within the university. Additionally, Carolyn co-founded and leads the Interplanetary Chamber of Commerce Inc. as President and CEO, while also contributing as a member of the North America Advisory Board at the University of Technology Sydney. Carolyn's academic journey includes a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor's degree with honors in the same field. Prior professional experience includes a directorial role in Health Informatics Research at the University of Western Sydney and a research internship at IBM.
