Stephen Woodcock

Stephen Woodcock currently serves as the Director of Student Mobility and Pathways for the Faculty of Science at the University of Technology Sydney, a position held since March 2010, which focuses on enhancing international opportunities for science students. Woodcock's experience includes roles as Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer, with a strong emphasis on outreach and public engagement, having contributed to various media outlets and participated in community science programs. In addition to teaching multiple undergraduate and honours courses, Woodcock has held several leadership positions within the university, including Program Director for various student programs and membership on several academic boards. Prior experience includes postdoctoral research at the University of Glasgow and a visiting fellowship at the Isaac Newton Institute for Mathematical Sciences. Woodcock holds a Master of Mathematics from the University of Oxford, a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Glasgow, and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching and Learning from the University of Technology Sydney.
