Tim Chapman

Tim Chapman is an experienced professional currently serving as a Senior Advisor to the Treasurer within the NSW Government since March 2023, focusing on policy development and stakeholder engagement. Since July 2017, Tim has also been an Academic at the University of Technology Sydney, teaching public communication. Prior to these roles, Tim was a Senior Researcher at 89 Degrees East, contributing to social research for the YES campaign for Voice to Parliament, and has held various positions at the Bluestone Agency and the Australian Council of Trade Unions, where Tim coordinated major projects and legislative reforms. Tim's career began at the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union, where strategic communication and media relations played a central role. Tim holds a BA in Communication and Journalism from the University of Technology Sydney and has pursued additional studies in drama and art.
