Michael Serber

Michael Serber, M.B.A., has been with UT Southwestern Medical Center since 2003. As Vice President for Finance and Institutional CFO, Mr. Serber is responsible for oversight of all financial activity at UT Southwestern and directs seven financial and operational departments across campus: Accounting and Fiscal Services, Budget and Resource Planning, Supply Chain Management, Sponsored Programs Administration, Auxiliary Enterprises, and Real Estate Services, and Southwestern Heath Resources Finance. Additionally, in 2016, Mr. Serber was named Treasurer for all Southwestern Health Resources legal entities. Prior to joining UT Southwestern, he was the manager of the Capital Planning Group at American Airlines. Mr. Serber received his Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in 1999 and a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University in New York in 1994.
