Kaydene Duffus Dacres is an experienced academic and professional in records and information management, currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of the Commonwealth Caribbean since June 2019, where core principles of records management are taught. Kaydene also holds the position of Deputy Registrar, overseeing admissions, examination, and records units, and ensuring effective policy development for registration activities. In addition to these roles, Kaydene has been a Records Manager at JN Bank since November 2019, establishing a records management framework and advising on legal compliance. Prior experience includes working as a Records and Information Management Consultant for the Office of the Cabinet in Jamaica and roles in various organizations, focusing on records management implementation. Kaydene holds a PhD in Information Studies from University College London, along with master's and bachelor's degrees from the University of the West Indies.
