David Johnston

David Johnston currently serves as the University Registrar and Associate Vice-President of Enrolment Management at the University of the Fraser Valley, a position held since July 2016. Additionally, David Johnston has operated as an Educational Consultant since May 2014, providing post-secondary consulting services to various educational institutions. Prior roles include Associate Vice Provost (Enrolment) and Registrar at the University of Calgary, Executive Director of e-Strategy at the same institution, and Registrar positions at both the University of Calgary and the University of California, Davis. David Johnston began the career in higher education at Simon Fraser University, where the role of Director of Registrar Services was held for nearly a decade. David Johnston holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Simon Fraser University.
