Laura Schneider

Laura Schneider currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives in Creative Arts and an Adjunct Professor at the University of the Fraser Valley since May 2019. Additionally, Laura has held the position of Executive Director at The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford since January 2015 and previously served as Director/Curator at Cape Breton University Art Gallery from September 2009 to January 2015. Laura is also a co-founder, chair, and artistic coordinator for the Lumiere Arts Festival Association from 2011 to 2015. Educational qualifications include a Professional Specialization Certificate in Collections Management from the University of Victoria, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Ottawa, a Master of Arts in Art History from Carleton University, a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Queen's University, and ongoing studies for an AAMG Academic Museum and Gallery Leadership Certificate at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
