Martina Southern

Martina Southern is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in higher education and operations management, currently serving as the Manager of International Operations at the University of the Fraser Valley since August 2017. In this role, Martina leads the Operations team to enhance international student services and collaborates with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency. Previously, Martina held various administrative positions at the university, including Executive Assistant to the Vice Provost and AVP Academic, and gained foundational skills as an Administrative Assistant in different organizations. Martina's versatile background spans customer service and management roles in retail, where notable achievements include driving significant sales increases and enhancing team performance. Martina holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Engineering and is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Systems Leadership in Higher Education.
