Liani Meyburgh

Liani Meyburgh is an experienced academic and editor currently serving as an English Academic Literacy Facilitator at the University of the Free State and an Editor at Cactus Communications since February 2023. Previously, Liani held the position of Biochemistry, Genetics, and Molecular Biology Editor at Cactus Communications from January to August 2022, and was a Senior Moot Officer at Legal Behemoth in 2020. Liani's extensive academic background includes various roles at the University of the Free State from 2013 to 2019, such as UFS101 Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant in microbiology, A_STEP Tutor, and Undergraduate Research Assistant. Liani earned a Master’s Degree in Microbiology and a B.Sc. (Honours) in Microbiology from the University of the Free State, along with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in the same field. Secondary education was completed at Hoërskool Sentraal.
