Patricia Vanston

VP, Business Development & Enrollment Management at University of the Sciences

Patricia Vanston is the Vice President of Business Development and Enrollment Management at University of the Sciences. Patricia has over twenty years of experience in developing and leading educational programs, strategic planning, and organizational development initiatives.

Prior to their current position, Patricia served as the Associate Dean for Program and Business Development at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, where they were responsible for developing new programs and establishing relationships with local businesses and universities. Patricia also led the advancement team, initiatives, and strategy.

Before their time at Cooper Medical School, Patricia was the Assistant Dean for Continuing Education at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. There, they created a novel faculty and professional development program, developed online and tracking programs, and secured ACCME accreditation for Northeastern and central PA for educational programs.

Patricia began their career in 1989 as an Executive Business Manager at Merck. In 1998, they transitioned to Regional Sales Manager, a position they held until 2001. Throughout their career, Patricia has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a dedication to their students and colleagues.

Dr. Patricia Vanston earned their Doctor of Education from Rowan University in Higher Education Leadership. Prior to that, they received their MSHE from Drexel University in Higher Education and their BS from the University of Scranton in Neuroscience. Patricia also holds doctorates from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business and Rowan University.

Patricia Vanston reports to James J. Rivard, Board Chair. They work with Odessa P. Jackson - General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, & Secretary to the Board of Trustees, Rob Rudd - VP, Institutional Advancement, and Ross W. Radish - VP, Student Affairs & Dean of Students.
