Dr Lee Kannis-Dymand

Dr. Lee Kannis-Dymand is a Clinical Psychologist, Researcher, and Senior Lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast since July 2011. Currently, Dr. Kannis-Dymand serves as the Founding Scientist at Dr Jay, focusing on the development of evidence-based cognitive behavioral and psychological strategies for an AI-enabled mental health intervention. Previous experience includes roles as a Clinical Psychologist at the Canterbury District Health Board and Priory Group, as well as a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist/Clinical Psychologist at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. Dr. Kannis-Dymand holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Therapy from the University of Oxford, a PhD in Psychology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology from the University of Canterbury, along with an Associate in the Arts Degree from Florida State College at Jacksonville.
