Nina Pollak is a Research Fellow at the University of the Sunshine Coast, currently involved in a Koala Chlamydia vaccine project since October 2023. Previously, Nina served as Associate Director of R&D at Provectus Algae for a brief period in 2023, and held various roles at the University of the Sunshine Coast from 2017 to 2023, including Postdoctoral Researcher on projects related to Provectus Algae and DMTC Countermeasures, and as a CSIRO Synthetic Biology Future Science Fellow. Nina's academic career also includes demonstrator and teaching positions at The University of Queensland and postgraduate research at Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz, where a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology was obtained. Nina has additional qualifications, including a Double Diploma in Business (Compliance) and Quality Auditing, and is an Associate Fellow of The Higher Education Academy.
