Rachael Donovan

Rachael Donovan is currently a PhD student and research assistant at the University of the Sunshine Coast, involved in projects focused on homelessness and nature connections. Since July 2022, Rachael serves as a senior social practitioner consultant at Community Praxis Cooperative, engaging in various community initiatives, including training, research, and evaluation for youth and homelessness support. Additionally, Rachael works as a nature-based facilitator and coach with Three Rivers Initiative. Previous roles include manager at Nambour Community Centre, national policy manager and state coordinator at CREATE Foundation, senior advisor at the Queensland Family and Child Commission, and trainer assessor with the Northern Territory Department of Education. Rachael has extensive experience in community development, research, and policy advocacy, supported by a strong educational background in community development and related fields.
