Taksil Dias RTTP is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in industry engagement, research management, and technology transfer. Currently serving as the General Manager of Industry Engagement at the University of the Sunshine Coast since January 2023, Taksil also holds the position of Training Fellow at the Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS) since February 2021. With a background as Co-Founder and Director of Medicasia Pty Ltd and Innovative Links Pty Ltd, Taksil has a strong entrepreneurial foundation. Previous roles include Director Engagement and Manager of various engagement and research programs at the University of Technology Sydney from 2012 to 2022, along with sessional lectureships in marketing at the University of Sydney and University of Western Sydney between 2001 and 2013. Taksil has also played a key role in commercializing intellectual property and fostering collaborations through positions in business development and project direction within various organizations. Education credentials include degrees from Western Sydney University and UNSW.
