Esther Williams

Esther Williams is the Director of Student Data & Systems at University of the West of England. Esther has over 15 years of experience working in student administration and data management.

Prior to their current position, Esther was the Deputy Registrar & Head of Applicant and Student Administration at Bath Spa University. In this role, they were responsible for managing various aspects of the Student Services provision, including admissions, registration, assessments and exam boards. Esther also oversaw student data and ensured that the student data system met the information needs of the University.

Esther has led cross-institution projects to modernize administration and improve customer focus. Esther has also been responsible for the HESA student return, the ITT return and other statutory reporting.

Throughout their career, Esther has been committed to providing high quality and student-focused services. Esther is passionate about using data to improve processes and support students throughout their journey at university.

Esther Williams has a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the University of the West of England, Bristol, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Management from the same school with a distinction. Esther also has a B.Ed. (Hons) in Primary Science from the West Sussex Institute of Higher Education (now University of Chichester).
