Helen McLean

Helen McLean has extensive experience in quality enhancement and institutional standards within higher education, currently serving as a Senior Quality Officer at the University of the West of Scotland since April 2010. Responsibilities include analyzing student experience data, conducting thematic reviews, and leading institutional responses to quality assessments. Previous roles at UWS include Interim Head of Quality Enhancement and Standards Team, Quality Enhancement Officer, and Education Guidance Adviser. Prior to UWS, Helen held various positions, including Administrator at ICS Learn and Programme Manager & Mentor Team Lead at Greater Pollok Development Company. Helen earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Stirling from 1992 to 1995.
