Steven Reid

Steven Reid is an experienced professional in career development and employability training, currently serving as the Lead Consultant for Career Programmes & Pathways at the National Trust for Scotland since September 2022. In addition, Steven holds the position of Associate Lecturer and Workplace Supervisor at the University of the West of Scotland since October 2020 and has been an Employability Trainer with Cyrenians since December 2023. Previously, Steven worked as a Careers & Employability Consultant at The Open University from January 2017 to August 2022, a Careers Adviser at Skills Development Scotland from April 2013 to January 2017, and an Employment Support Worker at Dundee City Council for a brief period in 2013. Early career roles include serving as an Employment Services Officer at Capability Scotland in 2012. Steven's educational background includes a Post Graduate Diploma in Career Guidance & Development from Edinburgh Napier University and a BA in Business Studies. Currently, Steven is furthering expertise with a Post Graduate Certificate in Coaching & Mentoring from the University of the West of Scotland.
