Jackie Poortinga

Jackie Poortinga is an experienced goalkeeper coach currently serving as the Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper Coach for University of Utah Athletics since April 2024. Prior to this role, Jackie Poortinga worked as the Assistant Goalkeeper Coach, Social Media Manager, and Director of ECNL/ECRL Girls Goalkeeping at Phoenix Rising Football Club from August 2021 to April 2024. Additionally, Jackie Poortinga served as a Staff Coach at Camp Shutout, focusing on goalkeeper training from July 2019 to April 2024, and held the position of ODP Goalkeeper Coach at the Arizona Soccer Association from October 2021 to May 2022. Earlier in the career, Jackie Poortinga was the Head Technical Goalkeeper Coach at Tiger Goalkeeping Institute from January 2017 to January 2020. Jackie Poortinga holds two Bachelor's degrees in Biology from Arizona Christian University and Olivet Nazarene University.
