Kyla Welch

Kyla Welch is a seasoned professional with extensive experience at the University of Utah, serving in various roles since September 2017, including Programs Manager and Administrative Officer in the Department of Anthropology. Welch contributes to university governance as Co-Chair of the UUSC Communications Committee and is a member of the Campus Health and Safety Committee and the University of Utah Staff Council. Additionally, Welch holds Co-Chair positions with both the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee and the CSBS Staff Council, further supporting initiatives in social and behavioral sciences. Prior to the University of Utah, Welch worked at PLA from July 2013 to August 2017, where roles included Technology Licensing Manager and IP Research Manager. Welch earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Technology Commercialization from Westminster University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Spanish from Georgetown College.
