Amanda Davis Simpfenderfer

Amanda Davis Simpfenderfer Ph.D. serves as the Director of Assessment, Data, and Accreditation at the University of Vermont since October 2019, leading assessment and accreditation initiatives across three departments. Prior experience includes leadership roles at the University of Vermont Grossman School of Business, where Amanda directed the Career Management Office and managed employer relations and outreach to enhance student career opportunities. Prior positions at Seattle Central College involved compliance and faculty development, while earlier roles at the University of Washington and Western Illinois University focused on student activities and leadership programs, respectively. Amanda earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Vermont and holds a Master of Science in College Student Counseling and Personnel Services from Western Illinois University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas.
