Donald H. McCree

Elected to the Board by the self-perpetuating board in March 2014 and re-elected in January 2020. Term expires in March 2026. Born in Bronxville, New York. Educated at UVM, BA, 1983. McCree is Vice Chairman and Head of Commercial Banking at Citizens Financial Group, Inc. He is responsible for all aspects of Corporate and Investment Banking, including Commercial Lending, Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets, Asset Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, Treasury Solutions, Underwriting/Portfolio Management, and Community Development (activities under the Community Reinvestment Act). McCree also oversees Risk Management, Loan Operations, and Strategy and Development within Commercial Banking, as well as the company's network of State Presidents and Region Heads, who represent Citizens Bank in multiple states that make up its footprint. He is a member of the CFG Executive Committee. McCree joined Citizens in September 2015 from JPMorgan Chase, where he held a number of senior leadership roles over 31 years, including Co-Head of Corporate and Investment Banking, CEO of Global Treasury Services, Global Head of Credit Originination, Sales and Trading, and Research, and Chief Credit Officer and Head of Wholesale Risk Management. Active in the community, McCree serves on several charitable boards. He is a member of the UVM Foundation Board of Directors and is a Trustee of the National Constitution Center, in Philadelphia. He and his wife have three grown children.
