Heather Pena

Heather Pena is an experienced professional in higher education and operations management, currently serving as the Assistant Dean of Students and Associate Director for Davis Center Operations & Events at the University of Vermont since March 2023. Prior to this role, Heather held positions as a Residence Director at Middlebury College and Class Dean for Sophomore Students and Programs at Colby College. With a solid background in operations as Co-Owner and Operations Manager at The Village Inn and Tavern and extensive library leadership experience as Library Director and Information Services Director at Regis College, Heather brings a diverse skill set to educational environments. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Vermont, a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) from San José State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Trinity College.
