Kevin Sweeney

Kevin Sweeney is an experienced engineering professional with a focus on mechanical and process engineering. Currently serving as the Deferred Maintenance Project Coordinator at the University of Vermont since September 2018, Kevin has previously held key engineering roles, including Senior Mechanical Engineer at Seminole Electric Cooperative from March 2014 to August 2018, and Process Engineer at Fluor from May 2008 to March 2014. Earlier experience includes positions as a Process Engineer at Worley Parsons and a Mechanical Engineer at Northern Power Systems. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, obtained in 2004, and completed secondary education at Union 32 High School in East Montpelier, Vermont.
