Kristabel Stark

Kristabel Stark is currently an Assistant Professor of Special Education at the University of Vermont, beginning in August 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Maryland from August 2021 to January 2024, and as an Instructor of Record at the Urban College of Boston from January 2019 to January 2024. Stark completed a doctoral degree in Special Education at Boston University in 2022, where involvement included roles as a Glenn Research Fellow and a Special Education Administrator intern at Newton Public Schools. Additional experience encompasses positions as a Special Education Teacher at Namaste Charter School and Chicago Public Schools, as well as educational roles at Roca, Inc., and MAPSCorps. Stark holds a Master of Science in Special Education from Dominican University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Security and Development from Westmont College, with studies at the University of Oxford and Yeditepe University enhancing a robust academic background.
