Ryan Gates

Ryan Gates serves as the Assistant Director of Medical Student Financial Services at The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont since June 2021, leading initiatives to provide exceptional support in managing scholarships, financial aid, billing, payments, and loans for Larner Medical students. With extensive experience in student financial services, including a current role as a Student Financial Services Counselor at the University of Vermont and a tenure as a Senior Account Analyst at Vermont Student Assistance Corporation, Ryan has developed a strong expertise in loan management and compliance. Past positions include roles focused on customer relations and financial counseling, with a commitment to continuous improvement and enhanced service delivery. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education Activities Programming and a Certificate in Information Security from Champlain College, alongside additional degrees in Physical Education from Lyndon State College.
