Shelby Hinkle Smith

Shelby Hinkle Smith, Ph.D., serves as the Senior Associate Director of Campus Recreation and a Lecturer at the University of Vermont since September 2007, with prior roles as Associate Director and Assistant Director of Campus Recreation, focusing on programs and intramural sports, respectively. Previously, Shelby Hinkle Smith held the position of Intramural Sports Director at Norwich University from September 2005 to May 2007 and worked as Assistant Operations Manager at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from October 2000 to August 2002. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Sport & Exercise Science from the University of Northern Colorado, an MS in Athletic Administration from Ohio University, and a BA in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
