Stephanie Figary

Stephanie Figary, PhD, currently serves as a postdoctoral researcher and Data Analyst at the University of Vermont, contributing as Co-PI and Fellow on a USGS project focused on global lake zooplankton community dynamics. Prior experience includes a PhD candidacy at Cornell University, where extensive research on Great Lakes trophic levels was conducted, alongside leadership in the Global Lake Ecological Observatory Network's Zooplankton as Indicators Group. Previous roles involve significant data analysis and modeling at the USEPA, and extensive fieldwork and program management at the Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association. Stephanie's academic background encompasses a PhD in Ecology from Cornell, dual master's degrees in Aquatic Ecology/Limnology and Environmental Policy, and a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Biology.
