Thomas Chittenden

Thomas Chittenden is a distinguished professional in the field of Management Information Systems and Business Analytics, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Vermont since January 2010. In addition to lecturing, Thomas has taken on leadership roles, including Faculty Senate President since July 2019 and Interim Director of Undergraduate Programs for the Grossman School of Business as of July 2022. Thomas is also a State Senator, elected by Chittenden County voters in November 2020. Previous experience includes roles at Competitive Computing as a Systems Engineer, at the University of Vermont as an Information Systems Specialist and Lecturer, and as a Consultant with TEKsystems. Academic credentials include a Master's in Business Administration and a Bachelor's in Business Administration with a focus on Management Information Systems, both obtained from the University of Vermont.
