Jason Bond

Jason Bond serves as a Co-op Coordinator and Sessional Instructor at the University of Victoria, specializing in Health Information Science since September 2019. In this role, Jason teaches undergraduate courses such as Introduction to Health Information Technology, Introduction to Professional Practice, and Electronic Records and Decision Support Systems. Prior to this, Jason held multiple positions within the Government of British Columbia from 2008 to September 2019, including Senior Manager of Physician Compensation, where responsibilities included team leadership, budget management, and setting accountability standards. Other roles included Senior Policy Analyst and Program Leader in Physician Compensation, focusing on policy support, research, and complex healthcare initiatives. Jason holds a Master's of Science in Health Information Science from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Calgary.
