Valerie Irvine

Valerie Irvine is an Associate Professor and Director of the Technology Integration and Evaluation (TIE) Research Lab at the University of Victoria, a position held since July 2004. Additionally, Valerie serves as the Chair of the Collaborative Technologies Working Group at BCNET since January 2013. Previously, Valerie worked as a teacher for the Coquitlam Schoolboard from September 1997 to June 1998. Valerie holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Instructional Technology from the University of Alberta (1999-2005), a Bachelor of Education from The University of British Columbia (1996-1997), and a Bachelor of Arts in English, also from The University of British Columbia (1991-1995).
