Holly Wyatt Herman

Holly Wyatt Herman currently serves as the Special Assistant to the Senior Vice President for Operations and State Government Relations at the University of Virginia, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this role, Holly was the Senior Legislative Director to Senator Emmett W. Hanger, Jr. at the Senate of Virginia from June 1996 to January 2024. Holly also has extensive experience in media, having worked as a Freelance Talent for television and radio commercial and voice-over work from 1989 to 2024, as well as serving as News Director and Morning Host & Co-Host at various radio stations between 1994 and 1996. Holly's earlier career included a position as Assistant News Producer and Production Assistant at WHSV-TV/Gray Television from 1993 to 1994. Educational achievements include being a Fellow at the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership at The University of Virginia and obtaining a degree in Art and Communications from Bridgewater College.
