Kristy Hall

Kristy Hall is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research administration and contract negotiation, currently serving as the Associate Director for Strategic Research Operations at the University of Virginia's Biocomplexity Institute since April 2013. Hall leads a team overseeing the life cycle of research proposals and awards, negotiating both funded and non-funded agreements, totaling significant financial involvement in institutional research. Previous roles include senior advisor for strategic projects and director of contracts, with a focus on streamlining research processes across the university. In addition, Hall has held positions in consulting and nonprofit sectors, providing expertise in strategic planning and organizational development, as well as serving as regional counsel for Adelphia Communications. Hall holds a JD from George Mason University and a BA from Olivet Nazarene University.
