Richard Kent serves as the Frederick Tracy Morse Endowed Professor of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at the University of Virginia, where additional roles include Chair of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Orthopaedic Surgery. Richard also co-founded the Center for Applied Biomechanics. Academic credentials include a PhD in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Biomechanics from the University of Virginia, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
