Echrak Aissa

Echrak Aissa is a seasoned professional in research and project management with extensive experience in agricultural and humanitarian sectors. Currently serving as a Research Fellow at the University of Viterbo "La Tuscia" since October 2024, Echrak previously held the position of Project Manager at COOPI - Cooperazione Internazionale, where responsibilities included administrative and financial management of projects funded by AICS. Echrak also worked as a Project Officer at Islamic Relief Worldwide, focusing on women's empowerment initiatives, and contributed as a Project and Research Assistant at Médecins du Monde Belgique, supporting a European Union program across multiple Tunisian governorates. Earlier research roles at the National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia and Groupe Chimique Tunisien involved project monitoring, data collection, and reporting. Echrak holds a PhD in Agronomy from the Institut National Agronomique de Tunisie and has a strong background in biotechnology and sustainable horticulture.
