Chris Smith

Chris Smith is a seasoned fundraising professional with extensive experience in individual giving and philanthropy. Currently serving as Senior Philanthropy Manager at the University of Warwick, Chris previously held the position of Head of Development at the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, where responsibilities included crafting fundraising strategies and securing major donations. Prior roles included Senior Manager - Individual Giving at Birmingham Royal Ballet, overseeing individual giving strategies and successfully managing fundraising campaigns, as well as Development roles at B:Music, where Chris led fundraising initiatives for significant redevelopment projects. Chris holds a Master’s Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Birmingham and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Portsmouth.
