Helen Ackers

Helen Ackers is an experienced academic and research professional specializing in social sciences and classical archaeology. Currently serving as the Research Impact Manager at the University of Warwick since February 2022, Helen previously held the position of Impact Development Officer at the University of Birmingham, where oversight of the REF 2021 Impact submission for the Birmingham Business School and the School of Education was a key responsibility. Helen's academic background includes a DPhil in Classical Archaeology from the University of Oxford, complemented by a robust teaching history as a Classical Visual Culture Teaching Fellow and various roles at prestigious institutions, including the US-UK Fulbright Commission and The British School at Rome.
