Karen Jackson

Karen Jackson is an experienced academic and research support professional with a comprehensive background in the higher education sector. Currently serving as the Research and Academic Support Manager at the University of Warwick since November 2017, Karen has held multiple leadership roles, including Head of Academic Services and Academic Support Manager for Teaching and Learning. Previously, at the University of Birmingham from March 1998 to November 2017, Karen was the Head of Research Skills and managed an academic support team, as well as serving as a Liaison Librarian. Karen's career began at the University of Central England as a Subject Librarian for Social Sciences. Academic credentials include an MSc in Information Science/Studies from Leeds Metropolitan University and a BA (Hons) in English Literature from The University of Sheffield.
