Muhamed Farhan-Alanie

NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow at University of Warwick

Muhamed Farhan-Alanie is currently serving as a NIHR Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Warwick since February 2023, while also functioning as a tutor for the MSc Surgical Sciences at The University of Edinburgh since January 2020. Prior experience includes roles as an ST4 Trauma & Orthopaedics practitioner at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, and as an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow in Trauma & Orthopaedics at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. Additional clinical experience encompasses a CT1 Trauma & Orthopaedics Clinical Fellow at North Bristol NHS Trust, and rotations in paediatrics, trauma, orthopaedics, psychiatry, general surgery, respiratory medicine, and care of the elderly during Foundation Years 1 and 2. Muhamed holds multiple degrees, including a PhD, a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Research, and a Master’s in Surgical Sciences, alongside membership in the Royal College of Surgeons.
