Adam Parcher is the Chief Quality Officer at UW Medicine at University of Washington Medical Center. Adam has over 25 years of experience in healthcare, including executive leadership roles with responsibility for clinical quality initiatives, physician compensation and contracting, and operational performance.
Adam began their healthcare career as a hospital administrator in 1995. Adam then served as the Vice President of Continuum of Care at Kaiser Permanente Washington from September 2017 to February 2019. In this role, they led operations for the Continuum of Care, which included Care Management, Consulting Nurse Services, Home Health, Home Hospice, Palliative Care, Home Infusion Services, Referral Management Unit, and Hospitalist teams at 8 partner hospitals.
Adam joined UW Medicine / Northwest in October 2011 as the Chief Quality Officer. In this role, they were responsible for all major clinical quality initiatives throughout the inpatient care environment. Adam also assisted the Chief Executive Officer and the Board of Trustees to ensure successful transition of Board governance following affiliation with a large academic health system. During their time at UW Medicine / Northwest, Adam led the implementation of The Studer Group model to accelerate clinical, operational, and financial performance.
Adam has a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Washington and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Seattle University. Adam is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Washington State Hospital Association.
Adam Parcher received their MHA from the University of Washington in Health Administration. Adam then went on to receive their PharmD from the University of Washington in Pharmacy. Lastly, they received their BS in Biochemistry from Eastern Washington University.
Adam Parcher reports to Cindy Hecker, CEO, University of Washington Medical Center. They are on a team with Keri Nasenbeny - Associate Chief Nursing Officer, UWMC, Northwest, JoAnne McDaniels - Associate Administrator, Ambulatory Care, and Thomas Staiger - Associate Dean & Medical Director.
