Amanda K.

Amanda K. serves as the Director of Research and Evaluation at the Tubman Center for Health and Freedom, focusing on community-directed research and policy work to support the establishment of community-owned health clinics. As a co-founder of Community Circle, Amanda developed a web-based application to enhance access to homelessness services while addressing provider burnout through user-centered design. A research collaborator with UW Medicine, Amanda contributed to a toolkit for community-based participatory research. Previous roles include the Community Health Fellow with the American Public Health Association, Health Services Researcher at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and Public Health Researcher at the University of Washington, highlighting expertise in health equity, qualitative research methodologies, and data-driven policy recommendations. Amanda holds an MPH in Health Systems & Population Health and an MPA from the University of Washington, alongside a dual undergraduate degree in Public Health and Political Economy.
