Brady Lucas, M.Ed. CHES®, currently serves as the Associate Director for Philanthropy at UW Medicine, focusing on initiatives within the Cancer Vaccine Institute, Institute for Protein Design, Department of Dermatology, and Men's Health/Urology since December 2023. As the CEO and Founder of Brady Lucas Author LLC., Brady has authored "Smiley's Smile," which draws on personal experiences with childhood cancer and aims to empower children with healthcare information. In addition, Brady holds the position of Institutional Review Board Member for Be The Match, advocating for patient rights in vital research efforts. Previously, Brady worked at Penn State University as the Assistant Director of Foundation Relations, helping to secure funding for the College of Medicine and Health, and held various Gift Officer roles that successfully raised significant annual contributions. Brady's educational background includes a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Children’s Literature and a Bachelor's degree in Biobehavioral Health with a minor in Health Policy and Administration, both from Penn State University.
