Annette Grotheer M.D.

Annette Grotheer MD, MPH is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as an Interventional Pain Physician Fellow at the University of Washington since August 2024. As the Chief Executive Officer of The Shop Docs since July 2016, Annette Grotheer has focused on providing preventative healthcare screenings and enhancing access to healthcare for minority communities. Previous roles include Medical Doctor at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and Aventura Hospital & Medical Center, as well as Research Assistant at Jackson Health System, where clinical research in gynecology was conducted. Early in the career, Annette Grotheer engaged in various research and volunteer positions, including examining healthcare challenges in Kenya and studying analgesic effects in a rat model. Annette Grotheer holds a Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder.
