Ben Newton

Ben Newton has significant experience in property and project management, currently serving as the Property Operations Manager at the University of Washington since December 2008. In this role, Ben oversees the management of approximately 830,000 RSF of off-campus properties and 1,000,000 RSF within the University’s full occupancy tenancy, focusing on strategic planning to maximize value and limit risk related to real estate activities. Prior to this, Ben held the position of Superintendent at Olympic Development from January 2002 to November 2008, where responsibilities included guiding applications for short plats and lot line adjustments and supervising residential construction projects. Ben also served as an Assistant Superintendent, contributing to lot development and performing various construction tasks. Ben holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from Seattle Pacific University.
