Carolyn Smith is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in corporate and foundation relations, currently serving as the Assistant Director for Corporate & Foundation Relations at the University of Washington since August 2016. In this role, Carolyn has progressed from Program Manager to Advancement Coordinator, demonstrating a strong commitment to building partnerships and securing funding. Prior to this, Carolyn worked as the Box Office & Booking Coordinator at the Seattle Children's Museum and gained valuable experience as an intern and Event Co-chair with the Southwest Seattle Historical Society. Carolyn holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from Western Washington University, complemented by studies at Universität Salzburg.
